Hi, I’m KC — the voice behind The Quiet Detour. I’m a 40 something year old, solo traveller from Australia who traded routine and the 9–5 for a slower, more intentional life on the road.
My digital nomad journey began in 2014, when I first started working remotely while bouncing between Bali & Berlin. After returning to a more conventional life for a few years, I chose the detour again — this time for good.
Now I slow travel full-time, spending a few months in each place, sharing practical tips, honest reflections, and resources for women who want to live and travel differently. If you’re over 30 and ready to create a life with more freedom and less pressure, you’re in the right place.
